9/25/06 Biology Block 6 Wallace

Today in class we got tons of papers back. We also got our labs from last week. With those labs we got in groups that had the data from blocks 2, 3, and 4 on Thursday. They shared their results from the class. Then we went over our Cellular Processes worksheet that should have been completed for Monday. HOMEWORK: Print off the mitosis lab for this week. Rough draft for your projects are due Friday. We have a quiz on Wednesday over photosynthesis. The last thing is to graph out our labs results from the prior weeks lab class. You must use EXCEL when creating the graph. -Eric Boten

9-20-06

Today in class we answered any questions we had over the reading assigned the nights before(pg.111-120). We then filled out and discussed the Cellular Energy Cycle work sheet. For homework over the weekend we need to finish the otherside of the Cellular Energy Cycle sheet, read pgs. 127-138 in your online Biology book, and then keep working on your project.

9\18\06

Today in class we got into our groups at the begining of the hour. (Visual, active, etc.) Then we answered some questions on things like what the world would be like without animals, and if plants would survive. Then we discussed these questions as a class. Then we read pg 111-120 and ask questions and took notes on the reading and if you did not finish in class then that is homework.

Welcome to the first of many postings for Biology Period 6. It will be my hope that this site will become one of your favorites to go to and communicate with each other as well as me. For your first assignment, go to http/:www. crc4mse.org/ILS/Index.html and click on the take the test button. After you have scored your test I would like you to determine which two categories (Out of four) you have the most points in and write these down to bring to class on Monday. Also for your homework do not forget to print off this weeks lab from one of the science teacher's websites (since I still do not have my site up and running). Hope you enjoy your weekend.
