Today in class we took the biology test and turned in the review packet. The homework is to print off the lab if you have not already been.

What we did 12/4

So I know that this wasn't the date I'm supposed to do this, but I figure that I already missed my date, and nobody was doing today.

Today Wallace answered questions we had about human evolution. About halfway thru the class, he decided that we actually had to get something done, so we began to take notes on the ancestors of man, including cro-magnons, homo erectus, and other long, Latin names.

The lab that need to be printed off is the skull lab, although by the time you read this, its probably too late. Hope I get credit anyways.

11-20-06

today (11-20-06) we went outside and played a game about deers and natural section. the deer had to get to a specific resource before the other deer. the faster deer lasted longer and thus passed on their genes. then we came inside and discussed the game. then we worked on notes sheet 2 and will finish it on monday. people who have lab on thursday have lab tomorrow because tomorrow turns into a thursday. no homework!

Today in class we studied for our quiz on friday. In class we reviewed inheritance, genetic disorders, Mitosis Meiosis, genotypes, phenotypes, sex-linked triats, monohybrid, and codominance.

I was supposed to blog on friday october 27 but I could not get this website to work, Anyway, in class on october 27 we watched a powerpoint about different genetic diseases and how some were only carried on the Y chromosone and some were only carried on the X chromosone.
